Salaried, in-office position at our corporate office in Eclectic, AL (approximately 35-45 minutes from Alexander City, Montgomery, or Auburn, AL) Excellent benefits plan includes medical, dental, vision, supplemental, paid holidays, paid time off, and 401k Reports to the Director of Accounting Work collaboratively with the Director of Accounting and CFO to provide strategic financial analysis, to provide risk management support, and to develop internal control policies and procedures Oversee and manage the organization's invoicing and accounts receivable functions, including preparation and processing of invoices Maintain responsibility for general ledger and bank reconciliation activities, including payroll account reconciliations Oversee and manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and credit memo accounting processes Plan, coordinate, and lead project financial reviews, including job costing analysis Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory is appropriately tracked and maintained Prepare financial business/regulatory reports, financial forecasts, and financial risk analyses Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and supporting documentation May be responsible for supervising accounting staff Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations Other duties as assigned by the Director of Accounting ~ Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance required ~3-5 years of experience in a financial or accounting role is required; 3-5 years of experience with accounting or bookkeeping software required ~ Experience with ERP software strongly preferred; NetSuite (Oracle) experience is desirable ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office required ~ Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices ~ Experience creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end close processes ~ Occasional travel required to other company locations, as needed ~ In-office presence required
