We are an expanding boutique Miami Insurance Defense firm specialized in first and third party property insurance claims. Remote work offered Mentorship with continuing education and training Health, dental and life insurance PTO & holidays We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense to join our high-performing legal team. This is a permanent, full-time position for candidates with 2+ years of litigation experience, offering the flexibility of remote work. As an integral part of our team, you will be involved in diverse aspects of insurance defense litigation, including First Party Property, Third Party Property, Personal Injury Protection (PIP), and Civil Litigation. Handle a wide variety of complex claims including, but not limited to, First Party Property, Third Party Property, and Personal Injury Protection. Manage all aspects of civil litigation process including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and research. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation. Negotiate settlements on behalf of the insurance company in an effort to avoid unnecessary litigation. Provide legal counsel to clients on their legal rights and obligations with respect to their insurance policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations affecting the insurance industry. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. degree from an accredited law school. Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on First Party Property, Third Party Property, Personal Injury Protection (PIP), and Civil Litigation. Proficient in legal research and writing. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and maintain a consistent high level of performance. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other legal research tools.
