Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze mechanical systems using SolidWorks.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to validate design concepts.
- Develop and implement testing procedures for mechanical components and systems.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure that designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing and quality assurance teams.
- Generate technical documentation including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
- Continually update skills and knowledge in the latest industry trends and technologies.
What you need for this position:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.
- Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of machining and tooling processes.
- Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear and concise documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
