Flexible Work Schedule We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Contract Accounts Payable Specialist to join our vibrant team. This is a unique opportunity to work in the fast-paced Engineering industry, where you will play a crucial role in the financial health of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoice creation and entry, and performing monthly reconciliations. Oversee the entire accounts payable process, from receipt of invoices to payment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare analysis of accounts. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Maintain accurate historical records by filing documents. Provide supporting documentation for audits. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable role. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Strong understanding of the accounts payable process, including experience with GL, AP, Invoicing, and Reconciliation. Excellent data entry skills, with an eye for detail and a high level of accuracy. Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements. Experience with accounting software, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
