We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated HR Operations Manager to join our fast-paced team. This role is integral to our company's success and growth, providing strategic direction and operational oversight to our HR department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR operations, conflict resolution, benefits management, and employee management. This is a contract position with the potential for a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
As a Contract HR Operations Manager, you will be expected to:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
3. Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure a high caliber workforce.
4. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
5. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
6. Nurture a positive working environment by ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
7. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
8. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
9. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
10. Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
11. Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
1. Proven working experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
2. People-oriented and results-driven approach.
3. Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
4. Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
5. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
6. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
7. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
8. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
9. Degree in Human Resources or related field.
10. Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR Operations, Conflict Resolution, Benefits Management, and Employee Management.
