Currently they are a team of 5 but continuing to grow as a unit to mirror the growth their company has continued to see year after year. They have been in business with 25+ years and represent various clients throughout the world and have great relationships with dozens of European Investment groups. With their ongoing growth, they are looking for a seasoned Financial Controller with a Commercial real estate background to join their team. Reputable Company, Excellent Compensation + Benefits, Career Growth Opportunities, Bonus Structure Specializes in Commercial Real Estate Our esteemed organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our financial management department, providing leadership and coordination in business planning, accounting, auditing, and budgeting. This position requires a strong understanding of commercial real estate, international and European investor relations, and tax legislation. As a Permanent Controller, you will be tasked with the following: Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Manage cash flow and forecasting. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs. Optimize the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions. Oversee budgeting and the implementation of budgets so as to monitor progress and present financial metrics both internally and externally. Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines. Liaise with international and European investors, providing them with comprehensive financial updates and fostering strong investor relations. Oversee all financial, project/program, and grants accounting; ensuring that expenditures are consistently aligned with grant and program budgets throughout the grant/fund period. Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive tax strategy to support the organizational goals. Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; To be considered for the Permanent Controller position, the candidate must possess the following: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. An MBA, CPA, or related experience is highly preferred. Proven experience in a senior financial managerial position for a period of 3+ years. Profound knowledge of commercial real estate and investor relations. Proven experience dealing with international and European investors. Advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software. Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP. Ability to work closely with a senior management team. Preferable CPA, extensive accounting experience and understanding ot taxes. Experience with international clients. Our clients are all European investors in US Commercial real estate
