Job Details Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of the development process, from initial land acquisition and feasibility studies to design, permitting, construction, and completion.
- Develop and manage project budgets, including cost forecasting and control measures to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Prepare and review CAD drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Navigate zoning laws, land use planning processes, and code enforcement regulations to ensure compliance at all stages of development.
- Coordinate with local government officials, community stakeholders, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth project progression.
- Regularly report on project status to senior management and other stakeholders, providing detailed updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Continually assess potential risks and devise contingency plans to manage them effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in land development and project management in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in managing mixed-use development projects from conception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of zoning laws, land use planning, and code enforcement.
- Proficient in using CAD software for creating detailed drawings and plans.
- Solid understanding of budget estimation and cost forecasting in construction projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of real estate development processes.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and effectively manage project risks.
- Must hold a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
