Job Details MUST BE LICENSED IN NY AND HAVE A BOOK OF BUSINESS
We are actively seeking a seasoned Labor and Employment Attorney to join our esteemed Labor, Employment & Immigration Practice group. This position is open for an income principal or counsel and is based in our New York City office; however, we welcome candidates from anywhere in the country, preferably near one of our offices in Seattle, Portland, Washington DC, or New York City.
Position: Labor and Employment Attorney
Experience: 7 to 10 years in employment law
Key Qualifications:
A strong background in employment law, with a focus on management-side representation.
Possession of a portable book of business is mandatory.
Proven employment litigation experience is required.
Labor/union experience is a plus.
Admission to the NY State Bar is a prerequisite; admission to the CA State Bar is a plus.
Must hold a valid NY License.
Strong academic credentials and exceptional analytical and writing skills.
Client-service approach with excellent communication skills.
Enthusiasm for working with and contributing to the growth of a diverse team.
Ability to manage significant individual responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the candidate will be instrumental in providing legal counsel on various employment-related matters, such as:
Employment/independent contractor agreements.
Wage and hour compliance.
Employee leave/ADA accommodation.
Terminations/separation agreements.
Manuals/handbooks.
Location: Open to candidates nationwide, with a preference for those near our offices in Seattle, Portland, Washington DC, or New York City.

This opportunity allows for flexibility in location, and the successful candidate will join our firm as an income principal or counsel.
