Small, rural Hospital, nestled at the base of the Oquirrh Mountains in Tooele, Utah. This award-winning healthcare facility and clinics has expert staff serving the largest county in Utah. Our community is surround by beautiful mountains on 3 sides with the Great Salt Lake composing our northern border. Most staff live within 10-20 minutes of the facility, though only being 30 minutes from the greater Salt Lake area. Our location is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream.
The Hospital is a 46 bed, rural, community hospital. We are a Level 4 Trauma Center, Stroke Receiving Facility, Chest Pain Accredited, Heart Failure Accredited. We are a business and patient care leader in our corporation.
We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced MRI Tech to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a full-time, permanent position that will require you to work closely with our team of medical professionals to provide top-tier patient care. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to capture specific images ordered by physicians to aid in patient diagnosis. Your role will be critical in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.
Maintain and operate MRI equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in the Emergency Department as needed, providing critical support to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the medical team to plan, supervise, and evaluate patient care.
Participate in continuous education and training opportunities to stay current with the latest trends and advancements in the medical imaging field.
A minimum of two years of experience as an MRI Tech, preferably in an acute care setting.
Proficient in assessing, planning, supervising, and evaluating nursing care.
Strong technical skills, with proficiency in operating MRI equipment and interpreting scan results.
Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
