Overview:
The Patient Care Associate works under the supervision of Charge Nurse, Clinical Supervisor, Manager and/or Executive Director, and is responsible for the delivery of efficient, safe patient care per competency, and Mercy Hospital Joplin policies and procedures. Duties to include admission of patients according to hospital policy, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADL's) to include bathing, dressing and undressing, feeding, positioning, comforting, ambulation, passive range of motion and other activities as necessary. May perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED.
- Certifications: BLS Basic Life Support to be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
- Other: Excellent interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills are required. Preferred Education: High School or equivalent preferred.
- Preferred Licensure: CNA
- Preferred Experience: Previous Healthcare experience is preferred.
