Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning (budget and forecast) process across the enterprise including analytics, KPIs and associated recommendations.
• Drive the financial planning process at the business unit and executive level, inclusive of kick-off meetings, deadlines, assumptions, data format/loads, as it applies to budgets, re-forecasts, capital planning and long-term plans.
• Supervise the Accounting team to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the monthly close and the production of reporting for the management team, lenders and Board of Directors.
• Build a composite view of the company including profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheet impacts; recommend business or financial action as needed.
• Work with the company’s private equity investors and Board of Directors on a regular basis to provide key statistics and other information to facilitate their continued engagement with the company
• Reconcile the financial forecast with financing plan to ensure adequate capital is available to meet operational and capital spending requirements and forecast out covenant, regulatory and other capital commitments.
• Assist the accounting team in financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
• As the focal point for information flow for the company, ensure accuracy, timeliness and consistency of reporting , both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

• Must be local to the Nashville area
• A demonstrated record of success in managing people and delivering results. Ideally, the candidate will have 10 – 15 plus relevant work experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Experience in service delivery industries, multiple branch operations, and integrating acquisitions. Private equity backed company experience preferred.
• Proven ability to hire, mentor, coach, direct and manage teams. Attract talent.
• Must have solid organizational skills, problem solver, ability to tactfully resolve conflict. Strong attention to detail.
• Must focus on providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Proficiency in IT tools.
• A bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited institution. CPA/MBA preferred.
