Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year A bit about us: With over 200 years of combined custom metal fabricator experience, utilizing over 25,000 sq feet of Fabrication, Assembly & Finishing space , we have become the Southwest's first choice for custom metal structures, art & sculpture. Why join us?
2. Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and contractors to gather necessary data for accurate estimation.
3. Analyze production processes, material costs, labor requirements, and overhead to determine overall production costs.
4. Use advanced software and tools for cost estimation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
5. Review and evaluate cost discrepancies and variances, providing detailed reports to management.
6. Evaluate the profitability and viability of projects based on estimated costs and projected revenues.
7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and material costs to ensure accurate and competitive cost estimates.
8. Contribute to the development and implementation of cost estimation procedures and strategies. Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience as a metal fabricator, with a deep understanding of metal fabrication processes.
4. Strong knowledge of cost analysis principles and methodologies.
5. Proficiency in using cost estimation software and tools.
6. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
