Real Estate Company Hiring For A Senior Accountant - Great Team & Benefits! We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for driving key aspects of the financial accounting and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong understanding of GAAP Accounting, financial reporting, and accounts payable. You must possess a CPA certification and have at least 2 years of experience in the finance industry. Dental insurance As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties including but not limited to: Managing the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy. Managing monthly closing processes, including reconciliations and analysis of related accounts. Coordinating the company's annual audit with external auditors, including the preparation of adequate work papers that support the financial statements. Collaborating with the finance team to support overall department goals and objectives. Monitoring and analyzing department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Advising staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions. Responding to inquiries from the director of finance, company-wide managers, and other finance and firm-wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc. Working with the controller to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit. Assisting in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department. To be considered for the Senior Accountant position, you must have the following: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the finance industry. Strong understanding of GAAP Accounting. Proficiency in accounts payable and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
