Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Structural Team Lead to join our Inland Empire office. As the Structural Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the structural design team, ensuring the successful execution of projects related to commercial buildings, schools, and hospitals.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Project Management: Manage and oversee the structural design aspects of large-scale building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.

Design Expertise: Utilize your expertise in structural engineering to contribute to the development of innovative and efficient solutions for complex building structures.

Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in design deliverables and documentation.
Budget and Schedule Management: Work closely with project managers to monitor and control project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to achieve integrated and coordinated project outcomes.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license is required, SE preferred in the State of California
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on large-scale building design.
* Proven experience managing and leading structural design teams.
* Strong proficiency in structural design software and tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with relevant building codes and industry standards.
* Ability to travel as required for project needs.
