As Patient Access Representative , we are often the first point of contact for our patients and their families. As such we value representing an important first impression. Our professionalism, expertise and dedication help ensure that our patients receive the quality of care they need. We are diligent in obtaining complete and accurate insurance and demographic information in a timely manner, this enables us to provide high quality, compassionate health care service to all who need them, regardless of their ability to pay.
This position is full-time. Shifts will be based on the specific department needs and may be comprised of 8 OR 12 hours. Employees are required to work any variable shift schedule during our normal business hours of 6:00 AM - 12:00 MN EST including the flexibility to work a mixture of days, evenings, overnight, occasional overtime, weekends, and rotating holidays for supporting our operations in our outpatient registration team and emergency room based on business need. Additional information will be provided during the interview process. Our office is located at Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital, 50 Union St., Ellsworth, ME, 04605.
We offer up to 4 weeks of paid peer on-the-job training. The hours during training will be aligned with your schedule from Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted on - site.
