We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Fund Accountant to join a dynamic team in the real estate investment/ construction industry on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for fund accounting, investment accounting, and GAAP accounting. This role also requires a solid understanding of real estate portfolios and the ability to manage complex financial data. Handle fund accounting Prepare and analyze investment accounting Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all regulatory requirements and ensure the company is in compliance. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and processes. Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's management, aiding in financial decision making. Implement and manage financial systems and software to improve efficiency. Participate in financial audits and liaise with external auditors as required. Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with taxation laws. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve financial management. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in fund accounting, investment accounting, and GAAP accounting in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage large amounts of complex financial data.
