Job DetailsResponsibilities:
1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation.
2. Prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, and real estate closing statements.
3. Provide legal advice to clients on their rights and obligations, ensuring they are well-informed about their case progress.
4. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
5. Mediate disputes and guide clients through the legal process, ensuring the highest level of client service and satisfaction.
6. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies, while also maintaining responsibility for case management.
7. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with changes and advancements in family and divorce law.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in family and divorce law.
3. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Proven experience in mediation and negotiation with a strong ability to resolve complex disputes.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think creatively to solve complex legal issues.
7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
8. A high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
9. Excellent research, negotiation, and case management skills.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
