This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in insurance defense, civil litigation, and trucking defense. The Associate Attorney will work closely with our team to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients. This includes researching, drafting legal documents, attending court proceedings, and providing legal advice. Defending insurance companies in civil litigation cases, with a focus on trucking defense. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to support defense strategies. Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses. Providing legal advice to clients on insurance defense matters. Collaborating with legal teams to develop defense strategies and ensure client satisfaction. Staying informed of the latest developments and changes in insurance defense law. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Insurance Defense Attorney, Civil Litigation Attorney, or Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney, with a focus on trucking defense. Extensive knowledge of civil litigation procedures and insurance defense law. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
