Job Description:

Our success is dependent on the development of systems designed to maximize the overall Design Manufacture Construct (DMC) value stream from beginning to end. In order to scale, we need strong motivated, empowered, leaders within each component of design, manufacturing, construction including the support system of supply chain and quality. Those leaders must focus intensely on the creation and management of an integrated DMC system to achieve 2x2x2: Twice the quality with twice the speed at twice the value of the traditional Architectural Engineering Construction (AEC) industry.

Production leaders have the role of ensuring manufacturing is advanced as a visually controlled, continuous flow pull system that is constantly improving. The expectation is that a new leader should first understand the systems currently in place, provide assessment of where the system needs improvement, develop plan for improvement, review plan with the broader group for input and then deploy improvements rapidly. Repeat frequently.

The position is responsible for managing the people, material, methods, and machines necessary to achieve efficient FLOW. It is a challenging and critical function, and the candidate will have significant opportunity for growth within the company.

  • Identify and define problems with 5-y or KT tools
  • Work with cross functional teams to solve problems including material handlers, process engineering and production scheduling
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and solve root cause
  • Develop continuous improvement actions and work with production teams to execute
  • Communicate production plans, status, and corrective actions
  • Work with production employees on good attendance habits, safety, quality, and productivity issues
  • Facilitate the training of new employees

  • Experience building and/or leading a production or station team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
