Under the context of the Exceptional Client Experience (ECE model) within the IT Operations Guide, this role involves providing technical support for a subset of business systems applications and contributing to the development of desktop/browser-based applications for back-end server processes. Evaluate one's own work performance or team performance. Contribute to the growth and development of others, the working unit, or the overall organization. Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and development through a blend of internal and external training opportunities, and encourage subordinates to do the same. Administer and provide operational support for application(s). Oversee and execute application installation, upgrade, and patching projects. Identify and implement enhancements to existing application(s). Enhance and document technical processes related to application support and publish knowledge articles. Assist customers with inquiries and requests regarding application(s). Gain insight into how customers use the application and recommend improvements for increased efficiency. Manage application backups, ensure system availability, and troubleshoot and resolve issues to resolution. Collaborate with external vendors and technical support teams to address issues and deliver strategic improvements. Automate manual tasks related to application(s). Generate metric reports for various applications and systems. Uphold a high level of customer service and offer long-range planning for user departments. Comply with all written organizational policies and procedures. Follow the assigned work schedule as outlined in organizational and department attendance policies and procedures. Possess comprehensive familiarity with services/frameworks and/or Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to communicate with server software and access databases. Effective communication with colleagues, supervisors, subordinates, and service recipients. Achieve desired work outcomes, including quality, quantity, and timeliness. Effective planning and organization of work, time, and resources, and potentially those of subordinates. Proficiency in Excel and data mapping. Competence in supporting web-based applications. Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution in Computer Science or a related field. Four years of progressively responsible experience in Information Technology Systems, including experience with enterprise-wide vendor software applications and IT support. Three or more years of experience in enterprise application administration (installation, upgrading, patching, user access management). Two or more years of experience in report building using Crystal Reports/SSRS/Cognos. 1-2 years of experience with implementation and/or configuration of Enterprise Resource Planning systems. One or more years of experience in ServiceNow/Central Square Technologies/Superion applications. Proficiency in Windows platform and network technologies. Possession of a Class C Texas Driver's License. Tasks may require light physical effort, ranging from sedentary to light work, which may include some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of lightweight objects and materials (up to 50 pounds). Some tasks may involve extended periods at a keyboard or workstation, and certain tasks may demand visual and auditory perception and discrimination, as well as oral communication skills.
