A bit about us:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Permanent Project Manager for Construction Federal/DOD projects in the Engineering industry. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that directly contributes to the security and infrastructure of our nation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including planning, coordinating, and executing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Must be able to come ons-te in Jacksonville FLa once a month!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop full scale project plans
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Manage project budget
  • Manage project resource allocation
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Quality assurance
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required
  • 3+ years of project management experience with Federal/DOD/Government projects
  • Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management
  • Proficient in project management software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire team members
  • Ability to make important decisions under pressure
  • Problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Must be a US citizen and be able to maintain a security clearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
