vehicle allowance Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all construction activities on-site, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations. This is a permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to manage and direct complex public works projects, commercial ground up constructions, retail constructions, and office constructions. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
4. Meet contractual conditions of performance.
5. Review the work progress on a daily basis.
6. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
7. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
8. Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
9. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
10. Ensure all safety guidelines are followed strictly and maintain a safe and clean work environment for the team.
11. Communicate effectively with a diverse group of professionals, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in commercial projects.
3. Proven experience in public works projects, commercial ground up constructions, retail constructions, and office constructions.
4. In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction material, equipment, and tools.
6. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
7. Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software.
8. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
9. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
10. Ability to lead and inspire a team.
11. A team player with leadership abilities.
