- Provide senior-level leadership and strategic direction for a multi-million dollar capital improvement program at an international airport.
- Lead a team responsible for delivering projects within the capital program, overseeing planning, budgeting, scheduling, contract management, and construction.
- Represent the airport owner as an extension of their staff, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities.
- Implement program management best practices, processes, and tools to ensure effective project delivery and integration.
- Proactively identify and mitigate program and project risks and issues.
- Oversee bid processes, contract awards, design reviews, permits, and payments for architecture/engineering firms.
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication among all stakeholders.
- Monitor contractor performance, schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
- Ensure adherence to capital program policies, standards, and procedures.
- Maintain required project documentation and reporting per program guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with other program team members to meet goals and deadlines.
- Accurately record time and expenses using company systems.
- Utilize construction software tools like Procore and Primavera P6.
- Provide technical input and advice based on engineering experience.
- Travel to project sites and attend client and public meetings.
- Understand local cultural, political, and community context.
- Primary location is owner's facilities in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
- 10+ years of project management experience, with a focus on large capital improvement programs.
- Demonstrated program management experience with large public/government clients is required.
- Professional engineering or architecture license is highly preferred.
- Valid driver's license with clean record, insurable under company policy.
