We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Contract AP Specialist to join our fast-paced finance team. This role will play a crucial part in managing our company's financial obligations and will be responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all financial transactions. Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all accounts payable data entries.
Maintain a high volume of accounts payable transactions, ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner.
Utilize JD Edwards software for accounts payable processing and financial reporting.
Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure the accuracy of financial data and the adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
Resolve any accounts payable issues that may arise, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Assist with internal and external audits related to accounts payable.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve accounts payable processes, implementing new strategies to drive efficiency and accuracy.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or a similar position within the finance industry.
Proven experience with full-cycle Accounts Payable processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage high volume accounts payable transactions.
Proficiency in JD Edwards or similar financial software is required.
Exceptional data entry skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of standard accounting principles and regulatory standards.
