Job Details - Create new designs and improve existing designs with the result of producing high-quality products
- Address inquiries for new product development and enhancements initiated by the Sales and Marketing team.
- Evaluate feasibility and functional requirements through independent analysis, research, and customer interactions.
- Generate new products in adherence to the Product Development Process (PDP).
-Conduct comprehensive market research to formulate design concepts and project proposals.
- Present design reviews and manage concurrent product development projects for timely market delivery.
- Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies.
- Liaise frequently with internal and external customers via telephone, email, and in person to understand their needs.
- Fabricate working models for demonstration purposes.
- Utilize computer-aided design for modeling concepts and creating final production documentation packages.
- Advocate for a culture of continuous improvement by promoting Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Include Plan For Every Part (PFEP), pull systems, Kanban, etc., in daily operations.
- Provide status updates on product development and design concepts.
- Coordinate operational metrics to ensure vital performance targets.
- Deliver product training sessions for new employees.
- Collaborate effectively using Microsoft Teams.\
Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of mechanical design engineering experience
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
