Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year A bit about us: We are a multi-disciplined commercial litigation regional law firm with offices in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, servicing clients in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Our clients are Fortune 200 companies and other large privately-held companies. We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our fast-paced, hybrid team. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a challenging environment and are eager to take on a diverse range of tasks. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our legal team to assist in all aspects of litigation, including white-collar litigation and commercial litigation. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of federal E-filing and be adept at legal research, cite checking, and drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for court proceedings. 1. Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post-trial.
2. Conduct in-depth legal research and cite checking to support case preparation.
3. Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for court proceedings.
4. Manage the organization of case files and maintain case documents.
5. Coordinate and manage federal E-filing process.
6. Assist in the preparation for trial including, but not limited to, the creation of exhibits, witness preparation, and trial logistics.
7. Handle Qui Tam cases and assist in white-collar litigation and commercial litigation.
8. Communicate effectively with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals.
9. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, maintaining attorney calendars, billing, and client correspondence. Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in law or related field. Paralegal certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
3. Proficiency in Qui Tam, white-collar litigation, and commercial litigation.
4. Exceptional knowledge of federal E-filing.
5. Strong skills in legal research, cite checking, and drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
9. Proficiency in using legal database software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
