Location: Ashland, MA
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000
Requirements: Commercial and Residential Construction / Submittal Proposals / Waterproofing Products Why join us?
2. Reviewing and understanding project specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
3. Managing and delivering accurate and timely quotations and proposals to our clients.
4. Performing detailed take-offs and preparing contracts and proposals.
5. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects during the estimation process.
6. Analyzing and understanding market trends to help determine cost influence factors.
7. Maintaining a comprehensive database of appropriate unit costs and industry standard estimating productivity factors.
8. Reviewing final estimates and finalizing pricing with the project management team.
9. Providing improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures to reduce future discrepancies between estimated and actual costs. Qualifications: 1. 3+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator.
2. Proficiency in using Bluebeam Revu and other industry-related software for estimating.
3. Extensive knowledge of commercial and residential construction, as well as waterproofing products.
4. Proven experience in performing take-offs, preparing contracts and proposals, and project estimation.
5. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and estimates.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and clients.
7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
