We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our thriving design-build firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to utilize their skills in project management to drive our projects from start to finish. With at least 3 years of experience in the A/E/C industry, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Architects and Engineers during pre-construction phases while working with clients to ensure expectations are being met
- Collect, assess and present construction bids for review and selection by the client
- Create, delegate and execute project objectives for each individual project
- Work with local building departments to begin plan reviews to expedite permitting
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks and devise contingency plans.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Ensure that all projects are completed in compliance with all safety and legal requirements.
- Travel to different project sites as necessary to oversee work progress and address any issues that arise.
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and project management principles.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel as required to manage projects, up to 50% throughout New England
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
