Our company is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and experienced Billing Supervisor to join our dynamic Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the billing operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in our financial processes. This role will require a strong understanding of billing procedures, finance regulations, and staff management. The Billing Supervisor will play a critical role in the financial success of our company by ensuring all billing activities are executed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee daily operations of the billing department.
2. Develop and implement effective billing policies and procedures.
3. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of billing processes, identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
4. Ensure all billing activities comply with legal and company policies.
5. Supervise and guide billing staff, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
6. Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions.
7. Generate financial and operational reports related to billing activities.
8. Collaborate with other departments to integrate billing procedures and ensure interdepartmental consistency.
9. Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance of the billing department.
10. Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss billing updates, changes, and improvements.
11. Resolve any billing discrepancies or inaccuracies promptly and efficiently.
12. Train new team members on billing procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a billing supervisor role or related position.
3. Proficient in billing software and other related financial systems.
4. Strong understanding of billing procedures and regulations.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and analyze billing data.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for generating financial reports and presentations.
10. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
11. Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) and experience in tracking and improving them.
12. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
