Looking to hire an accountant with 2+ years of work experience in the hospitality industry!! Medical Dental We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growing organization that values the contribution of its staff. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a focus on the hospitality industry and a keen understanding of revenue accounting. As a Permanent Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: Managing and overseeing daily operations of the accounting department including: month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures. Handling high volume transactions and managing financial reporting in a multi-unit hospitality environment. Working closely with the finance team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Assisting in budgeting processes and preparing for audits. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. Ability to manage large amounts of data and to be able to deal with deadlines. Strong analytical skills and experience with creating detailed financial reports and forecasts.
