Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, Federal & State tax, and ASC 740 Tax Provisions. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Ensure compliance with Federal & State tax laws and regulations
• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and minimize tax liabilities
• Assist in the preparation of ASC 740 Tax Provisions and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Provide tax planning advice to clients and recommend strategies to reduce tax liabilities
• Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Train and mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on complex tax issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA designation preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, Federal & State tax, and ASC 740 Tax Provisions
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
