Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, Federal & State tax, and ASC 740 Tax Provisions. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
- Ensure compliance with Federal & State tax laws and regulations
- Conduct tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and minimize tax liabilities
- Assist in the preparation of ASC 740 Tax Provisions and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Provide tax planning advice to clients and recommend strategies to reduce tax liabilities
- Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Train and mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on complex tax issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, Federal & State tax, and ASC 740 Tax Provisions
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
