Pharmacy Technician 2nd Shift

As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be responsible for answering incoming calls/completing outbound calls to/from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity. Along the way, you’ll discover the training, support and career opportunities you’d expect from a Fortune 6 leader. This  Senior Pharmacy Technician role is equally challenging and rewarding. As a senior team member, you’ll help identify problems and determine solutions both independently or in a team/group setting. You’ll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details/clinical information. Schedule: Monday – Friday, will be required to work an 8hr shift between the hours of 7:00 am – 7:00 pm and will be required to work rotating weekends for on-call rotation (would be on call for Saturday and Sunday and rotation would be once every 4 – 5 weeks) with overtime required based on business needs You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of pharmacy related experience (includes retail pharmacy experience) ~ Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Georgia ~1+ years of pharmacy related experience (includes retail pharmacy experience) ~ Ability to work  an 8-hour shift, Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:00 am – 7:00 pm and will be required to work rotating weekends for on-call rotation (would be on call for Saturday and Sunday and rotation would be once every 4 – 5 weeks) PTCB (National Pharmacy Technician Certification) ~1+ years of hospital experience, IV compounding and/or oncology ~ Pharmacy / prescription data entry experience ~ Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods of close vision looking at a computer monitor Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, floor activity  At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
