We are seeking a passionate and experienced Scheduler, Oil and Gas Marketing Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Energy industry. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the scheduling and negotiating of crude oil sales contracts. This role requires a deep understanding of the US oil and gas markets and a keen eye for analyzing and forecasting market trends. The successful candidate will have a strong background in marketing oil and gas, with an emphasis on strategic planning and cost-effective transportation solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the scheduling and execution of crude oil sales contracts, ensuring optimal timing and cost
efficiency.
2. Lead contract negotiations with various stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and transport providers,
ensuring the best terms and conditions for the company.
3. Analyze and forecast oil and gas market trends, utilizing this information to inform strategic decision-making
and planning.
4. Develop and implement effective marketing strategies for oil and gas products, focusing on maximizing
profitability and market share.
5. Evaluate transportation costs and options, identifying the most cost-effective and reliable solutions for
transporting crude oil.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to align strategies and
ensure smooth execution of plans.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities, leveraging
this information to inform marketing strategies and decisions.
8. Prepare and present regular reports on market analysis, contract performance, and marketing strategy
effectiveness to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
3. Proven experience in contract negotiations and crude oil sales.
4. In-depth understanding of the US oil and gas markets, including market trends, pricing, and regulatory
environment.
5. Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze market data and trends, and make informed decisions.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with
stakeholders.
7. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and industry-specific software.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting
tight deadlines.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
10. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong organizational and planning skills.
