Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 per year A bit about us: We are a premier CLIA Certified and CAP Accredited clinical molecular laboratory. We are dedicated to the diagnostic management of infectious disease, STI/UTI, pharmacogenomics, and COVID-19. We use our clinical expertise to provide contracted research services for medical device industries. To manage complex disease states, we integrate microbiologic, immunologic, toxicology, and genomic testing into relevant clinical pathways. We support the full spectrum of clinical diagnostics, pharmacodynamic monitoring, and companion assay deployment for integrated delivery systems, accountable care organizations, payors, and pharmaceutical companies. 2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of quality control.
3. Oversee the use of LCMS technology in the laboratory, ensuring that all procedures are carried out accurately and efficiently.
4. Conduct regular equipment calibration to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
5. Train and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the laboratory.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in the field of toxicology, implementing new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
8. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and clean working environment at all times. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field. A Master's degree or higher will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a toxicology setting with supervisor or managerial experience.
3. Extensive knowledge of toxicology, including the use of LCMS technology.
4. Proven experience in laboratory supervision, quality control, and equipment calibration.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels.
8. Proficiency in the use of standard laboratory software and equipment.
