Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 per year A bit about us: An 800 person and rapidly growing company, is current hiring an Architect with both Residential and Commercial experience in the Rockville MD area! Why join us?
2. Plan and design tech spaces for both residential and commercial use, ensuring they meet client needs, building codes, and industry standards.
3. Develop detailed blueprints and building plans to be used for construction and permit applications.
4. Incorporate sustainable design principles into buildings and spaces to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
5. Communicate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and constraints, and provide them with design solutions that meet their objectives.
6. Manage project timelines and coordinate work activity for project completion.
7. Stay updated with the latest advancements in architectural design in the technology industry. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field. A Master's degree in Architecture or a related field is a plus.
2. At least 6 years of experience in architectural design, including experience in the technology industry.
3. Licensed Architect with a current NCARB certificate.
4. Proficiency in CAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D, and other modeling software.
5. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
6. Excellent design and visual communication skills, with a strong understanding of architectural aesthetics and functionality.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, and to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
8. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and work with a diverse range of individuals, including clients, contractors, and other architects.
9. Proven experience in residential and commercial architecture with a portfolio of completed projects.
