Our education program transfers research and conservation information for resource management. We're seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our fast-paced finance team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's financial growth and stability. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounts payable procedures, account reconciliation, vendor management, and purchase order processing. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential. Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management. Perform regular account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions. Utilize accounting software to expedite processes, maintain organized records, and provide financial reporting. Collaborate with the finance team to improve and implement financial policies and procedures. Assist in month-end closing activities and other projects as needed. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processing, account reconciliation, and vendor management.
