Job Details Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design and implementation of water/wastewater projects, including wastewater treatment plants and drainage systems.
- Coordinate with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle, from planning and design to construction and completion.
- Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and findings to senior management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to water/wastewater projects.
- Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Foster relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure project success.
- Continuously monitor and report on project progress, problems, and solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering project management, specifically in water/wastewater projects.
- Extensive knowledge of wastewater treatment plants and drainage systems.
- Proficient in civil engineering software programs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.
- Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
