We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent IT Director - Salesforce Architect to join our construction company. This position will play a crucial role in our organization, driving the strategic direction and execution of our IT infrastructure and Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in IT management, Salesforce architecture, and implementation. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our business operations, leveraging technology to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT strategies and systems to support the company's mission and core objectives.
• Lead the design and development of our Salesforce platform, ensuring it aligns with business needs and industry best practices.
• Oversee the implementation of Salesforce, including configuration, customization, integration, and maintenance.
• Monitor the performance of IT systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process and operational improvements.
• Manage IT staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, guidance, discipline, and discharge.
• Develop the IT budget and ensure cost effectiveness for IT systems and projects.
• Ensure the company's data remains secure by overseeing cybersecurity initiatives and compliance.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and trends in the construction industry to drive continuous innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior IT management role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successful IT system and Salesforce implementation.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent project management skills with a focus on execution and driving results.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and proactively manage IT issues.
• Knowledge of data analysis and budgeting.
• In-depth understanding of data administration and management processes.
• Proficiency in managing system development and implementation projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stay current with the latest technologies and trends in the construction industry.
