A bit about us: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements. You will be responsible for managing various areas of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end reporting.

Job Details Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
2. Prepare and present financial reports, providing clear and concise analysis and commentary on financial performance.
3. Lead the budgeting process, working closely with various departments to develop and finalize budgets.
4. Conduct month-end closing activities, including bank and account reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
5. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate record of company's financial transactions.
6. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for financial decision-making.
7. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.
9. Stay updated with current financial regulations and best practices, ensuring company's compliance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance role.
3. Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger management.
5. Experience with month-end closing activities, including bank and account reconciliations.
6. Ability to prepare and post journal entries accurately.
7. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
