Job Summary and Qualifications

The individuals selected for the HIM Director in Training position will complete field training assignments preparing them to function competently as a Director in the Parallon HSC (Health Information Service Center) organization.  Here at DOCS Health we have a state-of-the-art dental practice at Travis AFB as part of  Army and Air Force Exchange Services specifically servicing Military Families and Military Veterans. Our practice has a family feel and we focus on building relationships with our patients. Making sure to provide each of our patients with the best quality care. 
 Provide dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers. 
 Strong diagnostic skills and be well versed in all phases of general dentistry with emphasis on oral surgery, simple restorative, and palliative care. 
 Utilize best practices, evidenced based dentistry and ADA standards of care in guiding your clinical practice. 
 Educate patients on the importance of maintaining proper oral health and outlining goals for both medical and dental health considerations. 
 Practice and follow infection control and OSHA regulations. 
 Execute company standards, processes, and procedures to ensure quality of service and a consistent patient experience. 
 Clinical Hours of Operation: 
 Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. – Saturday: 7:30 a.m. - Degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)
 Active State Dental License - with no restrictions 
 Strong diagnostic skills and be well versed in all phases of Pediatric dentistry 
 Pediatric dentistry experience preferred 
 Able to work well with children 
 Evaluate and treat patients with the highest quality of care
