Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial machinery, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements, develop control strategies, and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices to ensure seamless integration and effective communication between various components.
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to identify and resolve control system issues, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.
Optimize control system performance by analyzing data, conducting system evaluations, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Train and provide support to operational staff and maintenance teams on control system operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards related to control systems, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years) as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in the machinery or automation industry.
Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, including motor controls, sensors, instrumentation, and communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
Experience with electrical design software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.) and programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Willingness to occasionally travel for project installations, training, or customer support
