Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Vascular Sonographer, you would perform non-invasive ultrasound procedures while recognizing sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures and blood flow.

<ul><li>You will adjust scanning techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveform, perform measurements and calculations according to laboratory protocol.</li><li>You would analyze sonographic findings throughout the course of the examination to complete the comprehensive exam and provide sufficient data to the physician to render a final diagnosis.</li><li>Initiate additional scanning techniques or administer contrast agents as indicated by the examination and according to established laboratory policy and procedure.</li><li>You would notify appropriate personnel when procedural findings are significant and or patient condition is of concern.</li></ul>

You’ll need to be able to work independently, but most importantly, you’ll need to have excellent customer service skills as you’ll educate customers on the features and functionality of our services.
