We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Coverage Analysis and Litigation. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a dynamic individual with a passion for the legal industry, specifically within insurance litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance coverage, bad faith, tort litigation, and appellate procedures. This role offers the chance to work on complex insurance cases, providing comprehensive legal advice and representation to our clients including national insurers and policy holders.
Analyze and interpret insurance policies to determine coverage and identify potential issues.
Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation from inception to resolution.
Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal materials.
Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations, guiding them through complex insurance matters.
Conduct legal research, gather evidence, interview clients and witnesses, and handle other details in preparation for trials.
Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide the highest level of legal services.
Continuously update knowledge of laws and legal practices relevant to insurance coverage and litigation.
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on insurance coverage, bad faith, tort litigation, and appellate procedures.
Proven track record in insurance litigation and insurance defense.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments clearly and persuasively.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
