The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for checking in, scheduling appointments, answering billing questions and managing patient medical records for a clinic. Roles may vary based on the size of the clinic(s).

Schedule : 7:45am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday

Location : 17218 N 72nd Dr #100, Glendale, AZ 85308

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete check-in and check-out tasks to include insurance verification and copy required documents
• Respond to patient questions in person or over the phone
• Answers phones and schedules appointments
• Greet patients and build rapport to provide a positive patient experience
• Collects co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issues receipts
• Make patient follow up calls
• Ask patients for and/or assist patients with completing required paperwork (e.g., health history, insurance documentation, etc.)
• Input/update patient demographic data into computer system
• Update/upload patient care data (e.g., care plan data, inpatient data, patient program flags) in computer systems
• Enter patient payments, prepare deposits, and balance daily deposit log/ledger
• Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher) 
• 1+ year of customer service experience 
• Beginner level of proficiency with both Windows and non-Windows based applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience with eClinicalWorks
• 1+ year of medical front office experience 
• 1+ year of Electronic Medical Record experience 
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
