This role will focus on Real Estate and will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our multifamily construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Property Management, Real Estate Investment, and Development. As the Accounting Director, you will be responsible for the following: Oversee all financial operations related to our real estate portfolio, including the management of multifamily and commercial construction projects. Develop and implement financial strategies, budgeting processes, and financial planning to ensure the company's financial performance aligns with its strategic goals. Provide leadership and direction to the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all financial reporting and procedures. Collaborate with senior management to identify investment opportunities and evaluate potential risks. Manage all aspects of property management accounting, including tenant billing, rent collection, and operating expense reconciliations. Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations and filings. Continually assess and implement best practices for financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. A minimum of 5 years of experience within the Real Estate, Construction, Property Management, and/or Investment sectors. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
