We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and experienced Permanent Sales Account Manager to join our team in the beef industry. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to expanding our footprint in beef sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our existing customer base, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, permanent position with very competitive compensation and benefits and huge bonus potential.

This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in one of three territories and be in close proximity to a major airport for travel in their region.

1) Northeast US (preferably north of DC)
2) South Central US (preferably TX or LA)
3 Great Lakes region

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients, focusing on client retention and product expansion.
2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area or accounts in the beef processing and sales industry.
3. Identify and target potential new clients, establish contact, understand their needs, and convert them into profitable business.
4. Work closely with the engineering team to develop customized solutions that meet client needs.
5. Provide accurate sales forecasts and meet or exceed sales targets.
6. Regularly review market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
7. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and high-quality customer service.
8. Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's products and services.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in beef sales.
3. Impeccable knowledge of beef specifications.
4. Sound knowledge of beef processing.
5. Must enjoy being out of the office, on the street working with clients and distributors.
6. Sound knowledge of end user work in retail and food service.
7. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
8. Knowledge of the beef industry, including trends, challenges, and key players, is a plus.
