We are looking for a dynamic, seasoned professional to join our team as the Head of Payer Sales. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and driving our sales strategy, focusing on the payer market within the healthcare industry. You will be at the forefront of new product development, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, specifically the payer and carrier markets, and a proven track record in enterprise sales and business strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting payers and carriers in the healthcare industry.
  • Lead and manage the payer sales team to exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Leverage Salesforce and other CRM tools to manage sales pipelines, track performance, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to design and launch new products that meet the needs of our payer customers.
  • Forge strategic partnerships with key players in the healthcare industry to expand our reach and influence.
  • Manage P&L for the payer sales department, ensuring profitability and efficient use of resources.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in the payer market to inform our sales strategy and product development.
  • Work closely with other department heads to align sales strategies with overall company goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a senior sales role, preferably all within the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record in enterprise sales, with a focus on the payer and carrier markets.
  • Extensive experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and track performance.
  • Strong background in new product development and strategic partnership building.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Proficient in managing P&L and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and the payer market.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners.
