You will play a critical role in driving our business forward, managing a team of sales representatives, and ensuring the successful execution of our sales strategy. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area or market segment.
2. Managing, developing, coaching, and motivating the sales team to develop their skillset and achieve their targets.
3. Conducting market research to understand competitors and market trends.
4. Providing innovative ideas and suggestions to improve the market presence.
5. Coordinating with the marketing department to ensure the brand consistency.
6. Setting sales targets and conducting quarterly reviews.
7. Maintaining relationships with key clients by making periodic visits, exploring specific needs, and anticipating new opportunities.
8. Staying current with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales management role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in the agriculture, construction, or heavy equipment sectors.
3. A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
6. Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office applications.
7. Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
8. Ability to travel as needed.
