Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
4. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
5. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
6. Support month-end and year-end close process.
7. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
8. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
9. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
10. Liaise with our Financial manager and Accounting manager to improve financial procedures.
11. Manage all aspects of collections, ensuring timely and effective collection of all debts.

Qualifications:

1. Proven working experience as a Financial controller, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
2. Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. CPA or CMA preferred.
3. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
4. Experience with creating financial statements.
5. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
6. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify business trends and opportunities.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
9. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Strong understanding of collections, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and investment.
