Our dynamic team is seeking a skilled and experienced individual who can bring their expertise in bookkeeping, audit preparation, financial transaction recording, cash-flow statement preparation, tax preparation, and overseeing payables and collections. If you're someone who is bright, organized, and possesses a good memory, we would love to hear from you. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities:

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for a range of financial tasks that are crucial to the smooth running of our operations. These include:

1. Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions on a daily basis.
2. Preparing for audits by ensuring all financial documents are in order and accessible.
3. Developing and maintaining a system for managing cash-flow statements as necessary.
4. Preparing and submitting tax documents in a timely and accurate manner.
5. Overseeing payables and collections, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and tracked.
6. Being responsible for cash applications, ensuring all cash is accounted for and applied correctly.
7. Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
8. Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in preparing for audits, recording financial transactions, preparing cash-flow statements, and tax preparation.
3. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. A bright and sharp mind with an excellent memory for recalling financial data.
5. Proficiency in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
6. Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field would be advantageous.
9. Experience with Netsuite preferred
